I redid this patch and I think simplified the calculations by removing all the time add/subtracts and just used the Date class instead. The calculations appear to be more stable using that class. |

The period calculator fails to properly handle the daylight savings -> standard time fallback properly for the :daily period.
Adds tests for various scenarios (including non-standard offset amounts) and corrects the failed calculation.
