By default CodeNav is shown in an editor margin, either on the left, right or top margin of the code editor.

It is possible to use CodeNav as a seperate toolwindow instead of an editor margin, by following the steps below.

  1. Click the cog wheel to go to settings
  2. Switch to margin 'None'

  1. Open the CodeNav window by going to View -> Other Windows -> CodeNav.
