Dear [X] users of Foxtrick,
we'd like to ask your help with Foxtrick translation process.
Your language translation progress is currently only at [x]%.
To make things simple, we have integrated a crowd-sourcing translation service called Crowdin.
This means anyone can help translating Foxtrick and making it better!
It's quite easy, just go to [link=http://crowdin.net/project/foxtrick] and start translating!
All you need to do is to login with your Google/Facebook/Twitter account or (if you prefer) sign up for a dedicated Crowdin account.
The site has a very intuitive and convenient interface.
You don't need to do everything alone!
That's the beauty of crowd-sourcing. Translating a few lines per person is enough. It's much easier if a group of people shares the task.
Unfortunately we can't really reward you guys for your work with anything but our eternal respect and gratitude. You'll effectively be rewarding yourselves when using Foxtrick in your native tongue ;)

A few things to remember
► Please look at the translation context and the comments section on the right, it often helps to understand where the text is used in Foxtrick.
► Where the context says '.abbr' it means the text is an abbreviation so please keep it short.
Same where the context says 'short'
► Please don't use the comment section for chatting as it's visible for all languages. If you need to you can start a discussion in your language group.
► Avoid deleting existing suggestions, just add an improved version and leave the old one untouched. You can also vote on translations made by others. The one at the top will be used eventually.
► Sometimes a small popup warning might appear which prevents you from submitting your suggestion. It warns you about unnecessary white-space, missing punctuation, unexpected translation length etc. Just double check your translation and press 'Commit anyway'.
► Foxtrick uses special rules for plural forms. This means you can specify different sentences based on a number in that sentence:
compare '10 apples' vs '1 apple'.
It gets much more difficult in other languages though. To our knowledge, [X] language uses [Y] different plural forms. You can find an explanation how it actually works here: [post=15466972.248].
Texts that use these rules are noted in the comments section.
Questions
► When will the new translations be used in Foxtrick?
Your translations will no doubt appear when we release our next stable version.
Read this if you want to see them in action right away:
New suggestions are imported into Foxtrick beta every day at approximately 13:00 HT time.
So you should be using Foxtrick Beta version when translating.
You can get it from here: [link=http://www.foxtrick.org/beta/].
Select the newest file there (with the highest number).
Foxtrick will update itself automatically every day from then on.
NOTE: Enter another folder if you are not using Firefox.
Google Chrome users need to first save the file to their PC and then drag & drop it onto a tab with Tools->Extensions open. This is a necessary safety precaution added by Google.

Thanks again for making Foxtrick better!

P. S. translation is one thing but drop us a line if you can spare us some of your time every other week and posses 'passable' (as in not 'divine') computer skills (tell us!) as well as a 'solid' command of English.
