Purpose

Groupie is an interactive application where users can befriend other users and participate in group activities. Users can both create and participate in these events.

Creating Your Account

Sign Up

Once you select the Sign Up button on the welcome page, you will go through our disclaimer page, and then to the Sign Up page. This is where you enter your email address and password. You need a valid email address and a secure password to create a Groupie account.

Profile

Once you have created your account, you can begin adding your personal touch. Make sure to include a photo of yourself and a bio describing yourself.

Participating in Events

Joining an Event

Once logged in, you'll be directed to the events page. This is where you can swipe through events happening in your area. You can also add your preferences to your profile, so that you can find your hobbies easily on the events page.

Creating an Event

You need to specify the location and time of the event, as well as a short description.

Connecting with other Groupies

Groupies can connect through shared events. Once you sign up to an event, you can chat to the other group members and share your interests.

Groupie takes the safety of our users very seriously. Age limits can be imposed on events.
